GE-317A: Tiny GPS engine board for Navigator and AVL applications The SiRF-3 based GE-317A is tiny in dimension (17*22 mm) and with much better performance. In addition, it supports the I-PEX RF connector as bonus for easy antenna connection. A valuable power control mechanism is implemented in GE-317A for power saving. Moreover, the user-friendly antenna open/short detection and short protection functions are provided to avoid the mi-use of GPS antenna.
