Vibration Dampers

Vibration Damper is of the Stockbridge type and is able to be used on phase conductors and shield wires.

Stockbridge Damper is the most efficient way to extend the life of a transmission line. It is designed to protect conductor from damage caused by aeolian vibration.

Dampers comprise a clamp and a messenger cable with a weight attached to each end.

Stockbridge Damper clamp and weights are pressed on to the messenger wire.

Material and finish:
Damper weight is made of cast iron with galvanized;
Clamp is made of aluminium with shot blasting;
Messenger wire is made of galvanized steel;
Sleeve in the weight is made of aluminium.
